Completed

On behalf of the VCS board of directors, I am thrilled to announce that Sarah Mulligan will be joining Village Community Services as our new CEO, starting on April 21! Sarah comes to us with over 20 years of experience as an executive director for non-profit organizations, including those dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her extensive leadership experience and passion for this community will be a tremendous asset as we continue our important work here at Village Community Services.
Initially, Sarah will be working in a hybrid capacity three days per week through June while she transitions her family from Montana before joining us in Arlington full time. We are excited for you to get to know her and look forward to the fresh perspectives and strong leadership she will bring to our organization. We will be arranging a Zoom meeting in the coming weeks to introduce her more formally.
We would also like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Roula Roe, our interim Executive Director, for her exceptional leadership during this transitional period. Roula’s dedication, hard work, and ability to drive positive change have made a significant impact on our organization, and we are thankful for her contributions. We are currently working to retain her in a top role moving forward, and we look forward to continuing to benefit from her expertise.
A final thank you goes out to all of you! We understand that change and uncertainty can be challenging, but we appreciate your unwavering hard work and dedication to support the lives of our clients. VCS would not be the amazing organization that it is without each and everyone of you.
Please join us in welcoming Sarah to the Village Community Services family and in thanking Roula for her outstanding leadership!
